- PRICE:
The Town of Greenville will put up the entire salt-sand pile and the pile will belong to the town. No contractor will be allowed to haul in sand, salt or other materials or be allowed to pay for materials being put into the pile. The price per yard that will be charged to contractors and others will be the town's cost of putting up the pile plus a 25% surcharge (for administration, use of lot, loading if available, pile loss, etc.). Note: the cost of re-salting left over salt-sand from the previous year will be included in the cost of the salt-sand.
- PAYMENT:
Contractors must notify the Town by October 6, 2000 their intentions to purchase sand and in what quantity. Payment for the requested amount will be due in full November 1, 2000.
- ACCOUNTABILITY/SIGN-UP:
Contractors must use the sign up sheet as they are using the pile.
- LEFT OVER MATERIAL:
All material left over in the pile will become the property of the Town on June 1, 2001.
