Calling all crafters! The Shirley Community Church will host its First Annual Christmas Craft Fair on November 19 at the Shirley Town Hall, and crafters are invited to display and sell their wares. There will be no table charge for those selling their products at the event, which is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., with earlier set-up time for crafters. Tables will be provided for those participating, but pre-registration is necessary to plan space allocation. This is an early Christmas season activity and a prime time for craft shoppers. To reserve a table, call Janet Parker, church council chair, at 695-3163. Please leave a message if there is no answer. In addition to what hopefully will be a wide array of crafts available at the fair, there will be homemade baked goods, popcorn balls, fudge and a variety of other goodies for sale, as well as a huge white elephant table, used books and much more in the Christmas theme. A special luncheon will be prepared by some of the Moosehead regionšs best cooks. There will be soup and stews, sandwiches and dessert, so plan on attending and making a day of it. The event will be held rain or shine. |
