14th Annual Forest Heritage Days

Learn about the history, heritage, and present day uses of the Maine Woods! Come to the 14th Annual FOREST HERITAGE DAYS Festival, August 13 and 14 in Greenville !!!

On Friday, start the day off with the traditional Woods Resource Bus & Boat Tour**, "Yesterday and Today: From the Woods and the Water", which includes a slide show on the last log drive, followed by a Baked Bean Supper and a "Music in the Gazebo" concert featuring "Under the Song Tree" in the evening.

Saturday's activities on the Greenville school campus include the Game of Logging, the C.A. Dean Hospital Auxiliary Fair, exhibits, food, a craft fair, entertainment, and demonstrations.

Forest Heritage Days is sponsored by the Natural Resource Education Center, (NREC).
