The Doughty Hill band pulls together guitars, bass, harmonica, mandolin and various percussion instruments to back their rich four part harmonies. Sid is a well known professional musician from Sangerville who has been writing songs about the history and culture of the central Maine region for over 25 years, (including songs entitled "Kineo", "Stream Community", "The Marriage of Dover and Foxcroft", "Katahdin Iron Works", and "Moose Blues").
