Conservation Districts from Maine recently participated in a District Day at the Statehouse Hall of Flags in Augusta. Representative Jim Annis
from Dover - Foxcroft spoke with Piscataquis County Soil & Water Conservation District Chairman Stephen Hobart and Executive Director/
Educational Coordinator Joanna Tarrazi.
As Annis serves on the Natural Resources Committee he makes it a priority to confer with the conservation district. Legislators on break from their sessions had an opportunity to learn more about conservation district programs that provide educational and technical assistance to landowners.
