MRSC Kicks off Hand Carved Moose Antler Raffle
Saturday, May 18, 2002
GREENVILLE - The Moosehead Riders Snowmobile Club (MRSC) of Greenville will be holding a raffle of a beautifully hand carved moose antler with flying Canadian geese which was graciously donated by local artist Harry Sprandel. This antler carving is truly a work of art and is valued well over $2000.00. The antler will be displayed at various local businesses and events for viewing. The funds raised will be going to the building fund for the new club house, as requested by Mr. Sprandel.

The MRSC has been actively seeking donations to their building fund for their new club house and hope to break ground in the near future once the funds are in place. The club is asking for individuals and area businesses to show their support by purchasing tickets and/or assisting with selling the raffle tickets.

Tickets will be $2.00 per chance and will be available in a book with 10 tickets. Tickets will be available at area businesses and events up until October 31st. The moose antler drawing will be held November 9th at the MRSC meeting. There will be one last chance to view and/or purchase tickets at the meeting prior to the drawing.

For additional information, tickets or to obtain books to sell, please contact Roger Pettingill at (207) 695-2208 or the MRSC at (207) 695-4561.
