Candidates submit papers for Greenville's June 13 election
GREENVILLE - Friday was the deadline for candidates to submit nomination papers for town offices, and seven residents have put heir names forward for consideration.

Burt Whitman and Bonnie DuBien, both incumbents, are the only two candidates for the two three-year Board of Selectmen slots to be decided at the regular municipal elections on June 13.

Last week it was announced that a Superior Court judge had ordered the town to hold a special election repeating the faulty Selectmen race from a year ago. That election will be held on Tuesday, May 23.

Also up for office at the June 13th vote will be Greenville school committee incumbents Angela Hinkley and Bob Hamer, who will compete with Janice Lavigne and Bruce Reed for two spots. Paula Hanson is the only candidate for a four-year term on the Shaw Public Library board. There are no candidates for position at the Moosehead Sanitary District.
