United Kingfield Bank “Moose on the Run” Walkers, children, and baby strollers encouraged! WHEN: Sunday, October 10, 2004 REGISTRATION: Begins at 8:30 AM at the Greenville High School Gymnasium. $10 to race, whether you register early or on race day. $5 to race in Fun Run (age 12 and under). Free long-sleeve shirt for first 100 registered. COURSE: Measured 5K course is mostly paved course, with some dirt trails and rolling hills, but overall a flat, fast course. Might be windy as you pass by Moosehead Lake. AWARDS: 1st, 2nd and 3rd places for first men and women to cross the line. 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in listed age categories. “Mean Runner” award given; also awards for, “Most Family Members Present” and “Best Finish by Greenville Citizen”. Great prize drawings at the end of race donated by local businesses. DIRECTIONS TO GREENVILLE: From the South, pickup the Moosehead Trail in Newport (exit 39 Northbound on I95) and follow Route 7 to Dexter, bear LEFT to Route 23 and follow to Sangerville, bearing LEFT to Route 15, which will take you through Guilford, Monson and to Greenville. From Bangor, follow Route 15 to Dover-Foxcroft through to Greenville. From the North…you'll know how to get here.
