Concerning previous entry...I just have to make a comment. You obviously viewed propaganda produced to try and make people believe that the Moosehead Lake area supposedly needs this so called park according to people from the outside. They don't seem to understand that people from central Maine have been dealing with Flatlanders coming in and trying to take over for many many years and still the locals are doing the same things they have done for years, living in God's Country. There will always be people who think they know better than the good people of Greenville and Millinocket about how to run their lives but we Mainers must be doing something right or else all the Flatlanders wouldn't want to be there enjoying themselves and wanting to be part of life in the Moosehead area.

Just got a new Hewitt Packard jarnada palm. When you go into contacts, the new palm will send an email very quickly to a person with an email address.
It will also bring up the Main page of this Maine Greenville site and show temperature, the picture of Moosehaed Lake in Color and you could be in the doctors Office.
Great idea having this site, I am getting address for this website so I may insert this on my contacts for the above reason.
I will then know the weather conditions in Greenville, Maine in case I decide to fly my Cessna 206 to Greenville in the summer time.

I viewed the film "Bretheren we have come to worship" last week and to be blunt I'm flabbergasted! A National Park may be the only way that our government can ensure basic civil liberties to people in northern Maine.
The film chronicles the efforts of baptists in Millinocket to build a church to worship in. Footage of their meetings in homes and an empty store are set against a backdrop of "STOP the church" traffic signs and petition drives to block them from purchasing property. At one point, the town Mayor uses slurs to refer to their religion and refers to them as an [n-word] church because african american foster children attend services.
This is a must see movie for anyone who believes that folks in that region are best "left alone" to ensure their way of life.

Wow! I was just in Greenville in June for the first time in SIX years! I used to teach music there and I have missed the town and it's people so much!
It was wonderful running into so many of you...Ruth and Jim, Charlie and Keyth, Dale and Karen, Jeanette and Dave, Tarun, Scott and Selena, Kelly and Michelle, Tracy, the Indian Hill Crew, Kathy and John, Hans, Mariette, Joe, Steve, Belinda, Billy and Emily...have I forgotten anyone?
There were others that I missed, and I'm so sorry...Gregg and Peggy, Darralyn, Kerry and Scott, Maynard and Kathy, Dr. McCann (I hope I've spelled that right!), about 600 of my former students...
We had a wonderful stay! Thank you, everyone, for making it so special for us!
Sincerely,

If anyone would like a copy of the article, email me with your address and I will send. Greenville sounds like a great place, I did a little internet searching about it and I'm now planning a visit. Great website. I've enjoyed visiting. I use to live in Blanchard, and visited my grandmother in Shirley, and use to hang out in Greenville in my high school days. Brings back alot of memories. My brother, still visits Greenville often. I plan to visit your lovely town again the next time I come up.

I'm unfortunately in front of my pc right now thinking about fishing on Moosehead. The website was a pleasant surprise and makes me yearn for the area. I'll be in Beaver Cove in mid-may for some R & R; can't wait! I hope everyone appreciates how blessed they are to live in that particular spot in the world, it's like nowhere else.

I own a camp which I built close to Shirley Bog in 1989. I doubt that
anyone has gone past of fished the bog more than I. Ther is a tremen-dous amount of beauty and wildlife in the bo, from Canadian Geese to
Brook Trout, Deer,Pine Martin,Coyotes, four species of reptiles in-habit the bog as well as three species of fresh water ducks. A great
place which I enjoy all summer in all types of weather

I took my wife to Maine for a fortieth birthday present & as a result we've been back 3 times in the last 2 years. We took our kids up there for the first time last March & they fell in love with it too, especially the Greenville area. I guess we'll be back this coming March.
You all are blessed to be able to live in such a beautiful area.

What a beautiful town and lake you have. I have close connections with your town as my parents were originally from Monson,
and we spent our summers on Lake Hebron, but always went to Greenville for food and fun (The Indian Store is where I spent my allowance!). I usually get a chance to visit
your town about once a year now, I try to get there in the fall! I will check this site out often, a special thanks to Judy and her staff.
